I have been using Coopers for the last 20 years

I have been using Coopers for the last 20 years. Initially on a 1980 Nissan Patrol and currently a 1999 Nissan Patrol. Some of the tyres finish on our Off-Road campervan. I have tried the ST ATR and now settle on the AT3. I prefer the 235/85R16. My main use is on asphalt hence the preference for the AT3. This tyre also performs well on sand gravel and most off-road tracks.

As tyres have been replaced in pairs and recently a full 5 mileage is not easy to compute. Generally, I am getting between 70 and 80 thousand km of hard driving and often aggressive surfaces as was experienced on the Great Central Rd. We have logged in excess of 60 000 across Australia.

See the map of our trips. Places visited that have tested the tyres include Cape Leveque Cape York Mitchell Falls Gibb River Rd Tanami Rd Strzelecki Track Birdsville Track Great Central Rd Simpson Desert- Mt Dare to Birdsville Nardoo Burketown Rd. To date 2 punctures. Great mileage and great performance why change. We also have Coopers on the Subaru Forester. The low profile original tyres were harsh and the 225/55R17 Coopers have softened the ride.
